Meet Simone
Founder of The Pole Physio
Simone Muscat is the owner & founder of The Pole Physio Australia, aerialist and APA Titled Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. After feeling frustrated & fed up with the number of injuries and the lack of easily accessible evidence based information for the pole community, Simone created the The Pole Physio to address this knowledge gap.
Prior to the creation of The Pole Physio Simone worked as a Physiotherapist for 10+ years in a variety of settings including private practice, emergency department & elite level sport, having travelled the world with some of Australia’s finest Hockey and Australian Football League (AFL) athletes. Simone has an additional 10+ years of Physio related study under her belt with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning qualifications just to name a few!
To compliment The Pole Physio resources, Simone and her team provide an online individualised Physiotherapy service for pole dancers & aerialists. Simone's unique skill-set allows for accurate patient diagnosis and rehabilitation back to all levels of performance, with her passion for improving patient treatment outcomes, performance and quality of life being second to none.
